Nursing and SAS Dual Degree? And help

So, I know that Penn states that one can pursue a dual degree outside of the structured ones that they offer. Well, I was just wondering if anyone here knows someone who pulled a dual degree between SAS and Nursing, and was it hard to get approved/to actually do?

The thing is I have developed a really big passion for international health, more specifically the health problem in underdeveloped countries. However, throughout high school I never really did any ECs to show my interest. I applied to volunteer in a hospital once, but they never got back with me v.v . And working really took center stage for me.

Anyway, I’m applying to Penn SAS because I’m sure with no demonstrated interest whatsoever, the nursing school will not accept me. Also, I do want to pursue a SAS degree too, as I have many other interests and I also think another field in say HSOC or such would be really beneficial to what I want to do. So, I was just wondering if getting a dual degree approved between those two colleges would be hard to do?

Also, would it be okay to write about this plan of mine in my supplement essay? And, lastly… Would anyone be willing to read my supplement? (Pretty, pretty please?) Preferably people not also applying to Penn.

Bump? Any knowledgeable? Any takers to read my supplement?

Have you looked at the Global Health Care minor in the Nursing Program?
