Nursing at Mt. SAC or transfer to Chapman as a History major

I’ve applied to Chapman as a History major with a minor in Rhetoric and Writing, intending to get a MA in War and Society from Chapman. I love words and books, but what kind of career and future is there out there for me?
I’ve taken the HESI and have also submitted an application for Mt. SAC nursing ASN program. Nursing is a career that is not going out of style. I wouldn’t have to take out any loans and could start making money almost immediately after the NCLEX.
What should I do?

If you like nursing enough to do that as your day job, there is no reason why you couldn’t do the reading/writing/history thing as a hobby.

But before you commit to nursing school, think long and hard about how good a nurse you think you would actually be.
