Pleas help I really want to know which school I should apply for based on my information.

Considering your test scores, GPA, and the fact that you’re an OOS student I don’t think it’s feasible that you’d get into the school of kinesiology or nursing, you’d have to raise your GPA up to about a 3.8 at least and ACT up to atleast a 29

Okay well which is easier to get into out of the two?? You never know lol

@Hever18‌ for kinesiology: http://www.kines.umich.edu/undergraduate-admissions/freshmen. It looks like this page lists the middle 50% and the school in total only has 850 students. So a little over 200 students a year. I’d guess competition is pretty fierce.

@96blue‌ okay so is it easier for the school of kines or nursing??

Check out their admission statistics and find out for yourself. I’m sure both have certain hooks that they are looking for, but in terms of scores Kinesiology (28-31) APPEARS less selective although I couldn’t find stats on UMich Nursing. If I were you I would research which school you WANT to go to. Either school will certainly be difficult.

When we visited for a nursing session they put up a slide which said middle 50 percent ACT was 28. and GPA WAS 3.8. This would mean kinesiology might be slightly more selective.
