Nursing program fees

Just wanted to bring this up as I have noticed many schools (especially private) have separate nursing program fees. They can range from a few hundred to a few thousand PER semester and are often not readily mentioned until you do some digging.

I completely understand the need for the additional fees for the specialized hands on training our future nurses require. I just wanted to make folks aware and to look for them when comparing COA.

Does anyone have a list or have experience with what some of the fees might be at schools they researched?

UMaine is a few hundred $ per semester extra.

This was information we collected last year when daughter was trying to decide where to go:

Clemson - ~$2k a year
University of SC ~ $2.6k a year
Miami University of OH $500-$2k a year
Pitt - Tuition and Fees vary by college. College of Nursing is $5k - $10k a year more than College of Arts and Sciences (based on if PA resident or OOS)
UNC-CH - ~$2k a year
