NY Tri-State Area Research Opportunities?

Hi,

I’m a high school student interested in science research opportunities in the NY-NJ area. Does anyone know any research opportunities that are nearby? But more importantly, are there any research opportunities in this area that aren’t over the summer but during the school year in the fall and/or spring? I’d appreciate any info you’d have on such programs.
