I am unsure how active the Parent Cafe is with the new format, but historically this group of parents have been so knowledge and helpful so I am giving it a try!
My son and his GF are moving to NYC and I think there are some posters that either live there or have adult kids there. Wondering if anyone has any doctor recommendations (specifically, a GP, GYN and possibly urologist). Any guidance would be helpful!

I used to live in NYC, but moved away over 3 years ago. When I moved there I used ZocDoc to find a doctor - you can enter your insurance and see who accepts the insurance, is accepting new patients, etc.
I just moved again (spouse’s job means we move frequently) and was able to log into my insurance carrier’s website and search for a similar list.
I used Westside Family Medicine when I was there, and was happy with them. They have three locations in Manhattan.
@dwhite NYC is a big place! Maybe post when you have an idea of where they will live and/or work? I love my primary care physician and the network she is part of but they are at the far end of Brooklyn which wouldn’t help much for someone in Queens or Manhattan or the Bronx which in themselves are pretty big.
