<p>I am trying to organize a picnic for (most likely) June 6th and do not want any of you to miss out if you could possibly attend it… We are hoping to have some alums, a lot of incoming, and even some who attend Rice right now. Don’t miss out!</p>

<p>great idea. but just so you know, there’s usually an alumni picnic or cookout sponsored by the alumni assoc. in most major cities. its usually in august. so i wouldnt worry too much about getting a bunch of alums to attend the thing you’re planning. sounds like fun tho.</p>
<p>thanks lol. And I heard about the alumni thing before… I am not trying to get a lot of alums to show up as this is rather just for students, but I know my interview would like to make it so he can answer questions and talk to us…</p>
<p>and I have some friends of my brother and from my school who might want to go… and someone who I met from FB said he could probably make it because he is visiting at around that time</p>
