What a difficult situation, and how wonderful that the two families put their children first. It had to be incredibly hard to navigate this.

Another level to switched errors. I remember two stories in the 90’s. One was here in VA. Switched in error by the hospital where they were born. Heart wrenching, for sure.

Hurrah that the parents put their kids first in both families are are making their shared blended family work. Sounds like both families are very loving and raising the children to be very happy and healthy.

Thought this was a very interesting article. The families really worked hard to make this difficult situation into a positive one. Of course it helped that they lived near each other and were in stable relationships.

Agree – this was a terrible situation that both families handled with incredible grace and the highest degree of concern for all of their children. Fortunately the two families were of like mind.
