Hey everyone! I’m an American applying RD to NYUAD. I was just looking for some thoughts on the process from people who are applying RD/ED2 or for ED1 applicants who’ve already been to candidates weekend. Specifically, I’m wondering if anyone who was nominated for NYUAD has heard anything from the admissions office? Or, if you’ve been to CW, how was it? When do you find out about your offer? How much financial aid did they give? Sorry for all the questions but I’m from Wisconsin and nobody applies to NYU let alone NYUAD

Hey! I was nominated for RD and I’m not sure if I should have gotten confirmation or something. Did you? All I got was an email from NYUAD telling me to apply.
No one on the other thread is really talking so hopefully this thread becomes more active because I’d like answers to those questions too.

Oh! Finally find thread for AD, I’m applying ED2 to NYUAD, and I’m Chinese. The forum in China about undergraduates in States has some seniors talk about their experience including current students in NYUAD, and as they described the most important thing during CW is “be your self”. I guess NYUAD pay more attention to students’ fitness than standard test scores (although they are usually very high).

Does anyone know if NYUAD accepts Jan subject test scores?

raseekrocks-I don’t think so, it’s too late, but you’d better ask them.

I applied RD and got an invite for the March CW on the 21st of February, 2014. Anyone else?

Hi, I also got invited to the March CW.

@coursecompanion hi, where are you from? I am Indonesian, wondering if any other kid from here coming to the CW.

@aliefmoulana I’m from China.

Hi, are you already in the facebook group?

No, which one is it?

It’s NYUAD Class of 2018 Applicants

Hey guys I applied but I didn’t hear back from NYUAD. I know the final CW is right around the corner and that means I’m practically rejected. I don’t want to sound arrogant but I honestly don’t know why I wasn’t invited. My counselor nominated me, I got a 2320 SAT, a 4.3 GPA, all 5’s on 7 APs, rec letters from two wonderful teachers and did lots of extracurricular activities…

I mean, is it that hard to be invited to the CW?
