<p>about how many people are invited to each candidate weekend??
…I mean… because lets suppose they approximately invite 70 candidates per week, for EDI applicants there are 140 places for the CW (for 247 people)…it is still bad, but not that much after all…as in my humble opinion, the real deal is the CW, because i guess if people is thinking like me, if they invite me (crossing fingerss) I’m going to freaking sell myself to NYUAD as much as I can without reaching the point of being obnoxious of course…
so lets hope/pray/whatever you are doing, that we are in those 70 places (if not more) for the next candidate weekend :P</p>

my stats are 3.97 unweighted gpa, 4.75 weighted, 12 APs and 3 college in high school

<p>ugh!..248 for ED-1…add some more for ED-2!!! 
and yeh, the number of those being accepted from the ED-1 pool could be just around 60 or less…cuz they have to take the ED-2 applicants also into consideration!</p>
<p>and hey, what about those 21 who applied to both the campuses!!!..include them too!</p>
<p>Do you reckon if you were a close candidate, they would still consider your application for ED-2? I mean, if there are 248…and let us suppose 90% applied just before the deadline, there is bound to be a lot of viable candidates, and that would not fit in just one CW (December, November would be for those that applied earlier), thus…wouldn’t they need more CWs?</p>
<p>I hate to say this, but one of the ED policies that NYU has is that they will give you a straight decision, either admit or reject, unlike Yale etc which may (often) defer you. So it seems like a “no”.</p>
<p>well for one thing, the no. of applicants applying as ED-2 should be far more lesser compared to ED-1, so seemingly just 1 CW for ED-2 should be enough, let’s see :)</p>

<p>I’m afraid there is no word capable of expressing what I feel.
I am so happy, so excited. It’s something that changed my life - and so did change all of yours who have been invited, I guess.</p>
<p>I just wanted to say thank you all guys, reading the comments helped me stay positive. And now I see: it was worth spending so much time on the application. </p>
