NYU Abu Dhabi

@KiwiKid: Thank you for answering my questions!

I have yet to start packing, so I was wondering what the dress code for everything was? Is there a certain event that we will need formal clothing for? Or are both days casual?

Bring mostly casual except for the last night’s dinner which is at the Emirates Palace (amazing experience - you will love it) and that needs slightly more formal clothes. Depending on how much much you risk having your clothing creased in your luggage, you can wear ā€œsmart casualā€ (colloared, long-sleeved shirt + decent trousers, with or without a tie) or go for the whole suit thing. There were a mix of all that at my CW (i personally went for shirt, trousers + tie).

Unless you are a girl of course in which case you should wear either pantsuits or a blouse+skirt or a dress. It is a very western hotel so you don’t have to worry about showing your ankles but I would personally say that it is a bit more polite to wear something with sleeves and nothing too tight.

I’m getting so nervous waiting for my decision! Has anyone from chicago or the midwest received an invitation for the march cw yet?

@Telperien - Are you from Massachusetts?!?! I haven’t met any other kids from Mass that have gone on a CW.

@bmraotwtn No, I’m from New Hampshire. Not exactly any major metropolitan areas here, so flying out of Boston. :)

Does anyone have a feel for if all of the invitations for the remaining CW have gone out?

hey guys , I have just received my invitation yesterday and I am from Egypt !! :D

Congratulations Bana93!
Guys who attended the last CW, how was it? how many ED-ers and RD-ers were there?

How big was the last CW? Was it mostly ED2 or RD? Anyone else anxious for ED2 notifications on Wednesday?

Guys the CW was amazing  Get pumped, because you’re going to meet so many awesome people.

There were 80 candidates on the last weekend, and one of the Peer Ambassadors said that there would be over 100 on the next one, fyi.

Congrats to everyone who was invited to the CW’s! Sadly, I have yet to receive an invitation and I do not think I will be receiving one anytime soon. Good luck to everyone applying!
