NYU Abu Dhabi

what kind of feedback did you ask for?
I asked them only about the possibility of being accepted if I do not get invited for CW, and I got no answer.
I have already started applying to other schools.
I think that we who did not get invite, should just get over it, and go live over lifes… haha i couldnt resist not to write this last sentence :D

So stefan… how do you feel? are you prepared for CW? do you have some plan? how feel you stand off the others and show them, that you are the man who they are looking for :D

clordia… where else will you apply?

Well, casanova, as Clordia said, if we didn’t get invited then we have no chance of getting in. Oh well. I’m over it haha. I’ve been accepted at another school, the only other one I applied to haha. so yeah :)

Casanova, I’m super excited but anxious at the same time. I know that the coming week will be unforgettable, but I don’t know what my reaction to the possible rejection will be… I guess time will tell! :)

Only 8 people in the US were invited to CW.

Wow, that number really is low.
Did you get this from an official source?

Wow. Well, that makes me feel better.

8 people out of the entire United States? So is it even worth applying there next year?

yeah, but not all people from the USA applied there… i doubt that more than 100 applied…

Stop making all kinds of assumptions. We won’t know any official number until NYUAD decides to release them.

I am personally acquainted with a US ED applicant to NYU Abu Dhabi who will be attending CW. Said person informed me that only 8 people were to attend.

guys… when you come back let us know how it was
what have you done there?

so, tomorrow, i will officially get rejection letter
haha

Hey, if you selected to be considered for both places, but put Abu Dhabi as your first choice, does that lower your chances of getting into the NYC campus if you were denied admissions to Abu Dhabi?

no it does not…

i have just received letter of rejection :D

good bye NYUAD :D

Hey you guys. I wasn’t accepted (although I went to CW). Can I apply to ED2 or RD this year?

Is it worth applying again (if I improve on my application?)

@Samonuh: Nope! I got my acceptance letter from NYU on Thursday. However, I never received a rejection letter from NYUAD which is really strange…they haven’t contacted me at all since I submitted my application. Hmm

send them email…

Guys, I’m so sorry to hear this! Just don’t despair, many other opportunities will follow. I honestly wish you the best of luck in your other applications! :)

I just wanted to let you know that I did get in. I received my offer last Tuesday.
I’m not gonna say that being admitted to NYUAD isn’t hard work (believe me, it most certainly is), but it is doable! If I made it, anyone else can too!! :D

So, to all of those who are considering applying there for EDII, RD or even in the following years, please don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions (about the application, CW… anything!).

Good luck everyone and happy holidays!

bravo stefan… i wish you all the best and to enjoy the time and AD in general :D

Thank you, Casanova. Best of luck to you!
