NYU Academics--strong?

<p>How strong are the academics at NYU overall? College Prow ler (I know, not the MOST reliable source, but still) rated its academics B+. On the other hand, the academics at University of Southern California, another school I am considering, is A-. </p>

<p>I’m interested in majoring in English or history. </p>

<p>Also, which school is considered to be more prestigious–NYU or USC? </p>

<p>nyu is essentially the usc of the east coast and visa versa, usc the nyu of the west coast. both are good.</p>

<p>i do. both are highly regarded (not HYP etc but still up there). and each has it’s own issues: lack of campus for nyu and poor location of campus for usc lol</p>
