I’m currently a junior in high school and I attend a highly competitive school. My freshman year and sophomore year I didn’t try too hard which is reflected in my grades, however, I stepped up my game this year and my grades have improved. I have a lot of volunteer hours and I’m actively involved in extra curricular activities. I’m an Indian-American who wants to possibly major in the theatre arts.
My question is: is NYU interested in seeing Asian-Americans join the theatre arts programs considering most go for medicine, engineering and business? I’m highly concerned that I will not get accepted to any of the colleges I would like to attend.
