NYU and subject tests

Through research, i found that NYU requires subject test for decisions. But i plan to apply to steinhardt for music technology. It says that they do not require subject tests because of the portfolio that applicants must send in. However, if i do send in 2 or 3 subject test scores (Considering they’re 700+), will it help my chances of getting into steinhardt’s music technology program? Or will they not consider it?

-Thanks

It likely wouldn’t hurt you (unless it’s like a 700 in a language you claim fluency in or mention heavily elsewhere), although personally I would only submit scores if they’re 90th percentile or above.

They’d consider it as a part of the holistic process. Impact is probably not significant though.
