NYU and the Subject Tests?

I know as part of NYU’s test flexible policy, they allow you to send in three subject tests in lieu of a traditional reasoning test. I also know that one must be in the humanities, one in math or science, and one of your choice. However, I have seen on CC that the elective cannot be a foreign language. However, on NYU’s site (http://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/apply/freshmen-applicants/instructions/standardized-testing-categories.html</a>), under suggestions for the elective category, all selections are foreign languages. Am I missing something? Are you, or are you not, allowed to use Spanish as your elected subject test?
