I know everyone here gets sick of these chances posts, but I’m curious to see what people think. I was deferred at Columbia ED.

I’m applying to CAS with a likely major in Computer Science

Stats:
GPA: 3.94/4.0 scale (weighted)
SAT I: 2030 (math was highest, then reading, then writing, not entirely sure of the numbers)
SATII: chem 650 math II 660 (not that great)
Taken mostly honors classes and two APs, as well as a course at the local college because the CompSci curriculum at my school is too basic.

Academics:
National Merit Commended Scholar
National Honor Society

Nothing too special here, I know. I’m hoping these help:

Extracurriculars:

I started my own computer software company when I was 15. I now develop iPhone applications in the app store and have made enormous profits from this. I sent the school supplementary materials with screenshots and explanations of my various apps. I have worked with the united nations WFP to develop an application for freerice.org.

Jazz Pianist. I study with a very prominent piano player on the NYC jazz circuit. He is a juilliard graduate. I participate in many competitions, have been hired for recordings, etc. I sent Columbia a CD of my playing as a supplementary material.

Sorry I had to sound so egotistical there, but I want to know what you guys think…
