I’m pretty sure I want to study economics after I graduate high school (I’m an international student), and I’m hopelessly in love with NY and the good and bad that comes with it.
But even though NYU ha a good economics program, there are other, better schools out there (though no one can beat NYU’s location), and I was wondering if it was worth going to NYU if I don’t have to take out any loans.

You need to have a serious talk with your parents. If your Dad’s name is Trump or Gates, I wouldnt worry. BUT if this is eating into their retirement money, you should think about it. I think you should also ask their thoughts, would they rather pay NYU, or later help you with a down payment for your first house, etc.

^ this guys got great points listen to him. Cost wise, if you get into Uchic or any other bigger name schools (columbia) go for them. Though the costs are pretty much the same.
