Anyone had the interview with Wilkins yet? for NYU Shanghaiā¦i have mine this thursday and Iām so nervousā¦i also applied ED1 to NYU AD but didnāt get the invite to the Candidate Weekend
does that mean your automatically rejected from the university? anywaysā¦congratulations to all of those who did get invited to CW :)

FA changes anyone?

@collegehelp08 I have mine on Monday so nervous. No invite means a no but official mail will come on 15 dec

@NYUFan101ā Perhaps earlier! But we should all have the FA change by then, yeah.

I dreamt last night that I got the change and was so sure that I wasnāt dreaming, but alas here I am. No change yet.

@didi254 sureā¦Iāll let you know how the interview goes ā¦did you get into the candidate weekend?

@xim0204 Yes, but after doing an NYU summer program, Iām not sure if the formatting was already there.

Has anyone thought of where they want to live at NYU, if accepted?

@xim0204 My first choice is Hayden, then Third North. What about you?

@xim0204 @jjrss10 I think Hayden will be spectacular after the renovation. I want an apartment style suite, though, so Iām torn between Third North and UHall. I stayed at Founders over the summer and loved it. The rooms were massive, clean, and had great views. The only issue was that it wasnāt apartment style and didnāt have any dining hall.

Do Uhall and Third have decent views of the city?

@xim0204ā I would love to stay at Third North or Hayden. As long as I am in NYU, I donāt really care where I get put.

Third North would be my first choice - I really want a kitchen, and being right near St. Markās Place would be awesome.

@jjrrss @NYUFan101 @girlintheworld @Smnparish Iām kind of interested in Goddard⦠But Iām not really sure about it yet. Does anyone know anything about Goddard? Like is it way too demanding? I also was considering Rubin because of the international relations themed floor and the French themed floor. I kind of want a community, as you can probably tell! I think Iāll feel somewhat overwhelmed if I donāt have a community. Is anyone worried about that? I actually forgot about Hayden, but I feel like that is going to cost a fortune after itās done!

@xim0204ā Haha, it probably will cost a lot. But then again, NYU Is already extremely expensive. Oh! I would to love to live in a French Themed Floor. That would definitely be amazing. I also want a community, I think it would be great to have one especially as a freshman.

@xim0204 I hear if you want a close knit community, Goddard is the place for you. Iām not really worried as much as Iāve heard from many current students that you can find your group of friends in classes and especially in different clubs. But the themed floors also offer another way to meet people with same interests.

Fair warning, the rooms in Goddard are TINY. Like miniscule.

@xim0204ā I went into Goddard when I went to their open house! It was, in my opinion, underwhelming. It was just kind of old and crummy looking inside :/

Guys! Could you guys tell me more about the residence halls? I donāt know whack.

I can also probably answer questions about specific buildings except Brittany and Hayden post-renovation
