@Jarjarbinks23 I got a $12250 LSP scholarship, $3000 work/study, and the rest in loans -_-

anyone get a CAS scholarship?

@Bluesky1999 in the same boat as you are. Seems like this is the case for many others. Did you apply to Stern?

If you are expected to go to one of their international sites your freshman year, is there any way to beg them to switch to your second choice?

@girlintheworld lol I got $3k in work study and $63k in loans… :-/

@Jarredvdv Yeah, I applied to Stern. I do not know if other friends have the same issue.

BTW, on the acceptance letter from Shanghai to you, does it have sentence like "Please know that you were considered for any and all programs and campuses within NYU’s global network for which you requested consideration on your application’, does it mean that NYU Shanghai and New York worked together and decided to put me into Shanghai campus??

@Jarjarbinks23 Are you still going to accept the offer?

Me too!! How big do you think our classes are?

Same… But I applied to CAS
Did you check your Albert?
Mine only shows offer to Shanghai and it’s 9:40 in nyc now… I assumes that’s a no

@Kwokchikwan As stated by NYU at very beginning, Shanghai campus and NY campus are different independent campus, in other words, they will make admission decision separately. Therefore, NY campus should give us their admission decision notice today!

@Bluesky1999 @kwokchikwan Will be hard to sleep without a definitive answer.
At the end of the day, just understand that you’ve been accepted to the more selective campus.
Even if you are denied to NYC, there are opportunities to study there as well.

I assume that NYUSH acceptances go through another loop after NYC acceptances (Since NYC is our priority campus) which could delay our decisions. Not sure that makes sense :P

@Bluesky1999 @Jarredvdv it feels better to have u 2 in company with the same situation TAT thanks for the encouragement and I really hope we can all get in. I chose Shanghai as alternative campus just for back up. I really wanna go to nyc T_T
So desperate right now…I don’t think there are people in the office sending emails anymore this late…

@kwokchikwan I checked my Albert again, the information there was same as you.

Remember to update the spreadsheet with your decisions!: <a href=“NYU COMPARISON :) 2015-2016 Applicants - Google Sheets”>NYU COMPARISON :) 2015-2016 Applicants - Google Sheets;

and, I do not think they send mails manually, they must have some kind of platform with batch processing capability . As I asked in my previous mail, does the offer letter from Shanghai campus has the sentence looks like " “Please know that you were considered for any and all programs and campuses within NYU’s global network for which you requested consideration on your application”?

@Bluesky1999 I have the same standard message. I see we both have a slight background in systems (:

I assume they send one round at a time (Whether you were accepted internationally or nationally).
Judging by the spreadsheet linked by @aoeu123, it looks like little to no one received a letter from both campuses.

@Jarredvdv @music17 posted this msg this afternoon -

Today at 2:35 pm
@Bluesky1999 @Hawaiian2019 I applied and was accepted to both Shanghai and New York. I first received my Shanghai admission at 2:30. Later, around 4, I got accepted to the New York campus. The results came in two different emails.

@Bluesky1999 I said “little to no one” in my previous comment. Of course, there may be one or two cases where students are accepted to both. However, I don’t see batches of applicants being accepted to both campuses.
