<p>Does the financial aid summary on Albert take the pell grant into consideration? I doubt that I would be eligible for the grant because of my parents’ income but am contemplating turning down the admissions offer now bc paying almost 60,000 is ridiculous

<p>Hey guys, I’m not actually a part of this class (HS class of 2016). But I wanted to talk about the cost. So, I want to apply next year, and I’m fairly confident I can make it. But at $70,000 a year, I can pay about $50,000 out of pocket (my parents can cover $40k, I can cover $10k). The other $80,000 (for 4 years) would have to be loans. And because my parents make too much, I wouldn’t qualify for FAFSA subsidized, which means I’ll have to go private. That’s like a 7% interest rate on $80,000. Do you think that’s worth it? </p>

<p>The big lession I got from this ED application is that if you wanna study in NYU, NEVER put any alternative campus on your applicaion!!! And, if you get any interview chance from NYUSH or NYUAD, tell them frankly that you prefer NYUNY!!!</p>
<p>Another point I’d like to mention is that while NYU makes admission decision, all campuses work together, and they allocate candidates among different campus… IT IS NOT WHAT THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY ARE INDEPENDENT WHILE THEY MAKE ADMISSION DECISION!!!</p>
