No @businessguy12 the 12th

@newyorkeratheart he meant for other universities!

Hi guys I’m Gillian. Ive mostly been observing and just crying to myself about NYU the past month but I figured Id finally jump in. I applied to Gallatin ED1 and I am from NJ. I have an 85.9 at a medical based magnet school and I have a 2280 on my SATS (800CR 730M 750W). NYU has been my dream for a long time and I am awaiting anxiously! I didn’t get the FA change by the way. But anyway I was wondering does anyone know the order of releases that happened last year on decision day? Like the times and whether it was acceptances or rejections and to what school? Thanks!

they have changed the date to the 12th!!

Last year several people got the FA change around Nov 5th. On the decision day, it looked like the rejections to different schools came early morning, then stern rejections and then a lot of acceptances around 3 - 5 PM.

sorry, dec 5th

im international and its +6h for me so imagine the feeling when I have to survive the whole day to only get the result by around 10-11 pm…? :-S

@gillygrg usually the pattern is: first they send out rejections (usually to Stern students) and then the second wave is rejections for all other students, then around 3pm they send out acceptances! Not sure about whether or not it’s based on region or just school.

@hobo65 FB link is https://www.facebook.com/groups/1471647649750544

@fazeeeeeeel that sounds right based on all the forums i have stalked

I don’t even know if I’ll go to school on the 12th. I think I’m just going to sit at home and refresh my email all day. The worst thing is that I have a field trip to Manhattan on the 17th, so it’s either going to be a really great trip going down and seeing where I’ll be going to school, or a sick joke.

@jjrrss10 i can’t decide if i want to try and sleep in until 3pm and wake up with an email, so I won’t stress about what time it comes, or if i want to go to school and just turn off my phone

well i guess if i do go to school, when i wake up at 630 am, if i have an email its bad news, but if i don’t, then i could go to school and anxiously await my (hopeful) acceptance

@hobo65 PM me your email that you use to log in to Facebook and I’ll add you to our ED1 2019 College Confidential FB group.

@jjrrss10 I’m traveling to NYC on the 19th and it will be the same for me but just a week after - either a happy trip, seeing my future campus OR a joke about how I’m rejected… ._.

I’ve been trying not to post too much on this page in order to not stress myself out too much, but my friend (who also applied ED to NYU) said that people have begun receiving acceptances today? Does anybody know anything about this?

Hey guys, I am an Indian applying to Stern and I am so freaked out because I haven’t got the FA change everyone is talking about.

Is there any Indian on this forum who has got the change ?

10 more days to go :-SS I’m no nervous! The thing is I am 7 hours ahead of NY so I’ll only get the email around midnight. I’m probably gonna end up staying up all night and continuously refreshing my email until I find out if I’m accepted or rejected. I kinda already know I didn’t get into NYU AD since I didn’t get the CW invite but fingers crossed for NYU NY and NYU SH.

Have you guys been asked to send your first trimester transcript? Do you think NYU will ask it before releasing decisions?

@ericajordan that’s definitely not true. They give a specific date where they release decisions.

and @justconfused23 why does it matter that you’re indian? What’s more important are ur stats for stern. See if people who have similar stats got the change
