The change was proven wrong last year, but @davidtaleb, I didn’t apply for aid either and don’t have the 2016 change, but the 2015 change.

Wait guys I have 2016 - New York University - No self-service access for this aid year. (Not “Award access not available”). Should I be worried?!

@nyufan101 oh well. Does it matter that i am international

lol so I’ve been following this thread for a while now, and was quite down I didn’t get the FA change. Before that, I was invited for a Skype interview and read somewhere that only competitive international students get interviews and thought my chances were pretty high! Anyway, I agree with some of the people here; those who didn’t get the change shouldn’t worry it might not mean anything, and whether or not it indicates anything, we all will get our decisions eventually anyway. I applied ED I to CAS in NYC and for need based financial aid. I thinks my stats are alright apart from my SAT; It’s really low! So if I don’t get in, I will know why! Anyway! Good luck to all of you! I hope we all make it and meet there next year!

@IHaveAnxiety Last year, a 2nd wave of FA changes came around Dec. 5th. Lets hope that we both get the change. Fingers crossed!

@ramenforlife i have the same fa change as you. What are your stats?

@newyorkeratheart I think most of us with the change have that message. It’s historically been an ED1 thing only and is just as good as getting the other message

@newyorkeratheart I’m applying EDI to Stern, undecided biz major

GPA: 102.8/100 W
SATs: Superscored 2150 (670 M, 720 CR, 760 W) and 1390 Reasoning
SAT II: 770 Math II, 790 Bio M, 720 US History
4 APs jr year, 5 this year

ECs:
-President of Interact
-VP of NHS
-Student Rep for Domestic Violence awareness walk committee
-volunteer at abuse outreach center
-Rotary leadership conference, economics for leaders conference

The rest can be found on my threads lol

Do you think our FA is good or bad?

My FA Change only says “Award Access not Available” but there’s no year. Is that bad? Is that what you’re talking about?

@ht1997 the order of FA is (what everyone was looking for) no financial aid information found ->award access not available -> 2016 award access available or 2016 no self-service access for this year.

So because im missing 2016 that could be bad? Or should I just keep waiting

I am waiting for the 2nd wave of FA changes around Dec 5-6. sigh!! A few people got the changes two days before the decision day, last year.

YOU GUYS - don’t worry about all of the FA changes… if they need you to know something - they will email you or find a way to communicate with you… I know we’re all stressed out and the last thing we’d want is to have any problems - but dw! I’m sure it will all be absolutely fine! :)

@ramenforlife I actually think it’s really good. As long as you have 2016, apparently you’re fine.

@Smnparish thanks! That makes me feel better. I agree that it is probably solely an ED1 thing

@umhhnervousone I’m fine :))

@ht1997 according to our theory, it isn’t necessarily bad if you didn’t get the FA change, but it’s not good. There’s a correlation between FA change and acceptance but no one can really be sure so don’t panic!

How does the idea of a WhatsApp or GroupMe group sound?

@ht1997 what are your stats?

same with me and I’m pretty nervous as to what this means. I guess it’s better than the “no information available” but I’m worried as to why there is no year

Anyone here applied to Poly?
Any Russians here?
