@dontknowmyname it is not the same as the FA Change that the theory apparently talks about. The change you got is probably to do with your summer school. The thing you should (supposedly) be looking for is a table that says 2016-Self Service Access Not Available.

separately, is there any history of an applicant who got a program change (whether from Stern to Real Estate, MCC to CAS or CAS to LSP) not getting into the program that it changed to? I got the CAS --> LSP change and I don’t mind it at all (I don’t see what the fuss is all about actually, sure you got rejected from CAS for your first 2 years but hey, an eventual degree is a degree from NYU).

also guys, this! <a href=“Breaking Down The College Confidential Myths | by NYU Local | NYU Local”>NYU Local;

Not exactly a useful article. It just reiterates what’s been said many times on this thread already.

yes @jarjarbinks but it’s always amusing when they acknowledge this forum :)

hope someone can share some information regarding the LSP thing!

Hey guys, what do you think are my chances of getting into CAS for Economics?

Predicted IB: 40
UW GPA: 3.75
(Did not send SAT/ACT scores)
Strong teacher recommendations

EC’s:

JV/Varsity Basketball (4 years)
Member of National Wakeboarding team (4 years)
President of Environmental Youth Council (3 years)
Founder of small micro-finance business currently helping typhoon victims with financial aid (1 1/2 years)

Does anyone know whether the body of the email on the 15th will already say the decision?
Or does it to direct you t Albert to check?

@vbg123 it would say your decision in the email

@WahooTuna i think youll make it :)

If I get into the Real Estate program, do I have a chance to enter Stern after the first two years at NYU?

@lyylxllight did your program change? Do you think that means that you’re in? Also, as far as I know transferring into Stern for anyone is pretty damn hard, there are usually only 4-10 transfers every year.

@auspicium A change of program could possibly be a good thing. In past years, people who got the program change usually got in. But you never know. CC is only a small percentage of the total applicants. So it is possibly a good sign, but I would not get your hopes up.

@Iyylxllight
Maybe the change is similar to the CAS to LSP.
People who applied for CAS and got changed to LSP automatically transfer to CAS after two years
Keep your hopes up!

@jarjarbinks I really hope I get FA or scholarship money. If not I might have to decline the offer.

@lyylxllight pm me we are in the same boat!

So if I have the box with 2015-award access not availible below the column sayin 2016- No self service access for aid this year, did I get the FA change? It didn’t say anything before and it changed a few weeks ago.

@a2nthony the change you care about is the “2016 - no self service access” one, so it looks like you got it! again, we hear in 2 days though, so just try not to think into it too much and just wait to hear

Best of luck today everyone! '18 wishes you luck!

Still haven’t gotten the FA change! Hoping I get into Fordham!!!
