@spanishapp Tuition covers 12-18 credits of classes; classes are typically 4 credits. So that just means that they’re anticipating you’ll be a full-time student taking at least 12 credits. Once you go over 18 credits, you have to pay by credit.
OK I feel so bad rn cuz all I got is loans but this has been my dream school since I was 10 and I want to go there more than anything! Do u guys think it would actually be worth it to get the $40k in loans? I’m an aspiring doctor so this with med school may add up to a lot, but this has been my dream for 8 years! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your answer!
I’m really excited but seriously doubt will be able to afford attending. I received very very little aid (over 6k in scholarship).
Do you know if internationals can work on campus?
What is the perception about Tandon School of Engineering - as in how good is it? Son just got accepted but he has acceptances from UIUC, Purdue, Penn State and some more. He is very inclined toward UIUC. Any suggestions are appreciated! We are from NJ.
@spanishapp As far as I know, yes.
Accepted into CAS! 2210 SAT! So happy!!! But probably wont go even though i got some scholarships its just still too expensive.
Does anybody know how to get a scholarship when u didn’t apply for it at first?? Lol i know it sounds kinda ridiculous but is there any way that I can get financial aid or scholarship without applying?? PLEASE HELP ME
@DSNJ2016 to be frank, Tandon is not a very good engineering school. This is because it still has many professors from the pre-tandon era that are not really up to par with most nyu professors. It also is not as selective as the state schools that your son got into. He should choose UIUC, or Purdue which are both extremely good in terms of engineering. To put this into scale, I was accepted for computer science at NYU, but outright rejected from UIUC, and asked to apply to another major for Purdue (because CS was very selective this year).
I applied for financial aid and scholarships, but my alberta login says that the “award access is not available.” Does that mean I did not receive any aid?
I have “award access is not available” too.
As of 5:01 PM EST I was accepted to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts for Theatre! I am ridiculously excited as I only applied to 4 schools and was rejected from two of them! God is really looking after me!

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask! Congrats to those accepted and to those who did not, you will end up were you belong. Remember it’s not where you go, but what you make of it!

Does anyone know how hard it is to transfer between colleges, particularly into Stern(from Gallatin, for example)?
@JJammerz There’s an internal transfer application that you have to fill out. Transferring into Stern is hard.
i was accepted into the global liberal studies program but I had listed CAS as my first choice, is there any way to transfer the first semester from GLS to CAS? I’m not as familiar with the GLS program as I am with CAS
