Anybody else get minimal financial aid?
@cleopatra7th I got zero aid despite being low income (got fantastic packages at other schools), but then again, I’m international.
I decided to not go to NYU Tisch even though I got a huge scholarship. I just feel that I shouldn’t go if I’m not sure Film is completely what I want to do. I’m going to go to my state university instead. Everyone is telling me how I’m missing a huge oppurtunity. I’m feeling conflicted.
@studentedu Oh man, I’m so jealous! NYU with a huge scholarship! Honestly, I think that you should go for it even if film isn’t exactly what you want to do. You definitely have other opportunities and routes you can take at NYU! If I were in your place, I would go for it without a second thought, but that’s just me.
Hey so I don’t know if I’m posting in the right place, but I’m ultimately choosing to accept an offer at another school and I tried going through Albert to decline my NYU offer, but something happened midway and now when I go back I can’t see if I successfully declined because none of the buttons that were there before are still there. What can I do before the May 1 deadline? Thanks so much!

After sending in your deposit, try logging on to start.nyu.edu ; you should be able to make your account.
If we don’t reply before the deadline, do they just assume we’re not going or do we actually have to go in and decline the offer?
@thetsaria They will probably just assume you’re not going, but I went ahead and declined it just in case.
