******NYU Class of 2020 RD Discussion******

Did anyone get an email from NYU today about NYUSPS High School Career Edge Program?

@aznboi4981 I did. I saw NYU in my inbox and almost had a heart attack lol. But it was just that :confused:

@anxiousthespian2016 Haha! I know. I nearly fell out of my chair.

@aznboi4981 I didn’t get any email about that :confused:

@aznboi4981 @anxiousthespian2016 omggg same

if I dont submit my fafsa, does that mean i wont be considered for merit scholarships as well?

when did the decision release last year?

March 27th?

I believe it was the last Friday of March

How does housing information appear to you guys at this point?

I have
Spring 2016: close
Summar 2016 (four options; DC, Paris, London and NYC): all open
Academic year 2016-2017: open

Does this housing info indicate something???

@beaglee105 I have the opposite for you for spring and summer.
I have:

  1. Spring 2016: Closed
  2. Summer 2016: Opened (4 Options - DC, Paris, London, and NYC)
  3. Academic Year 2016 - 2017: Opened

@scholar861 oops my bad. That was a typo

@beaglee105 Ohhh its ok!

I dont have the spring application on mine.

Just checking again, does anyone else have any sort of change in their FA (with Aid Year, Institution, and Aid Year Description)? Does this mean anything?

I checked the NYU admissions twitter and they deleted their previous tweet saying decisions would come out April 1st, does this mean anything?

@Wscott23 the tweet is in the tweets and replies section

Does anyone know if I’m going to get more financial aid, specifically need-based aid, even if I already received the MLK scholarship?

Congratulations on your scholarship! And yes they could still offer federal grants as well as work study (based on FASFA). Your specific school could also offer a scholarship in addition to the MLK award. @nodaysoff97

@soccerlover678 I don’t have the Spring section either. Is that a bad sign?

I guess this makes NYU the only school (that I’m aware of) that’s actually waiting until April 1 to release decisions. I’m surprised they’re waiting until after Ivy Day.
