******NYU Class of 2020 RD Discussion******

did any of you guys apply and get into sarah lawrence? i know they’re completely different schools but they’re both in ny. i got into SL and i’m considering going there if NYU or GWU don’t work out

@TheSwexican USC was my #1 school and getting rejected this past week was rough so I feel you

@seeniebeenie Is the FA change you’re referencing the 2017 thing?

Hey guys! I’m super nervous about NYU (it’s my #1 choice - hence the username). I got into some schools that are better than NYU in terms of ranking with merit scholarships. Do you think this gives me a good shot of getting into NYU CAS??

What if I didn’t apply for FA, can I still access my FA?

Anyone apply to Tandon?

@Canon7130 I did, but it was my second choice. And omg I love Tokyo Ghoul

did all of you who are getting the FA change apply for financial aid? like if I didn’t apply for FA, then I wouldnt get the change right??

I got accepted into NYU last year and I’m currently a freshman here! I remember how nerve-wrecking it was a week before acceptance letters were sent out, so I feel you guys!

My journey in NYU had been amazing so far and I wish the for all of you! Don’t worry; if you truly belong here in NYU, you will be in NYU! Cheers!

I didn’t get the FA change and I’m having a panic attack… I can’t imagine not getting in. :-S

I want to study international business and I just got an acceptance from Georgetown ! I still can’t wait for nyu thought !!

Could I get into CAS with a 3.75 and a 30 on my ACTs? I applied for Biology and my extracurriculars are mainly academic and medical based.@-)

@lmaoimdeadaf hey bro stay calm! a whole bunch of people in here don’t have it and the ed people have said it won’t happen until closer in, and even then it’s not a sure sign. we just gotta stick it out and try to cling to our sanity by our fingernails until Thursday!

@lmaoimdeadaf i got in with very similar stats

Wow thanks guys. Good luck to everyone!

@llkkbbc did your F.A change before you were accepted? And if so, when? I know it’s not a solid indicator but it may be a good one.

@ClassOf2020x Yep! When the year pops up, it’s the FA change.

I feel like non-renewable undergraduate changing to freshmen is a much better indicator than the financial aid change. I had the “Award Access Not Available” thing for a while before it changed to the year, but I’ve always had the non renewable undergraduate

I really hope the last couple of paragraphs in that post aren’t exaggerations, but it was very nice to read
