Did NYU change when admission come out to the 31st?

the email just says decisions are available Thursday via email and on albert on April 4
@queenellie lol I just read it!!! False alarm but still any message from NYU over the next two days will make me panic!

@tracksoccer LSP is the liberal studies program, it’s basically 2 years of smaller, discussion based classes then you get to decide which school/major you want to study. gallatin is the individualized major where you create your own major with the help of advisors/faculty and I’m pretty sure you can only get into that one if you state it in your application. LSP is supposedly easier to get into than the other schools, so I put it as my 2nd option
omg that email made my heart stop!!! just an admissions update tho to let everyone know when decisions are dropping whew
How does Financial aid summary (information) look like for you guys? What does it say?

I received the MLK scholarship and my aid still says “award access not available” so I’m assuming they won’t update until 3/31
@CCSenioritis Hey I remember you from the Cornell Thread! Im excited for both but I am really interested to see what NYU campuses I got selected to and what kind of aid they would give me. I really wanna visit, right now visits are really gonna determine where I’m gonna go.

Lurker here. Did any of you guys apply to Columbia too? Any thoughts on Columbia vs NYU?
Does anybody know if there’s going to be a “view decision” link or something like that in the decision email we’re going to get? Or is it just going to flat out say the decision?? I’m worried because I would literally know the decision before I even open up the email :-S
@neta427 The email will say either “Congratulations!” or “We regret to inform you…” but since they’re sending them out in waves, rejections will be sent out from midnight to around 9am EST and then acceptances will be sent out around 3pm EST. If you’re accepted, there will be a “VIEW OFFER” box on your Application Status page where you can view your offer of admissions and accept or deny it.

I’m going to be doing fun things that day so I’m going to wait to open up all my decisions late at night, but I won’t be able to do that with nyu… Well hopefully it’s a positive surprise!!!
