Well it’s now noon on the east coast. Hopefully a good sign? Who knows though NYU seems to like messing with us.
I am 100% certain no one will be hearing from NYU until after 5pm EST.
On the Albert portal it says “Admissions decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be released via email on March 31 after 5pm.”
I hope this clarifies things for some people!

And that’s the thing…I think everyone would have been fine (or at least a little better lol) if they had stuck with April 1st at 5:00 or even March 31st at 5:00 but to have the dean say in his blog “all day in waves”…and to have admissions Twitter account reiterate that…is just kind of cruel. And I’m a mom! I’ve been distracted and unproductive all day but I feel really terrible for the kids all over the world who are in limbo today. I don’t understand the point of it.
Yeah but the Dean said “throughout the day but not during the school day in waves” and the Twitter said its random and in waves as well as at once a few days before. I’m not sure NYU knows when NYU is releasing decisions lol, but they will be out today.

@milesj1003 I know exactly what you feel. The month of March is just so stressful. Like what you said distracted and unproductive! And then, the wait list… so now it’s extended. Good luck to everyone!
I have 3 projects due tomorrow and I cannot focus on them at all! I skipped two days to do them and haven’t started either whoops! NYU y u do?
Their server is offline and the message on the Albert portal admissions page now reads, “Regular Decision Applicants:

@justjacob58 my son stayed home sick. I just got over a stomach virus so I didn’t want to take a chance if he is actually sick. But I’m pretty sure it’s probably his nerves.
@milesj1003 same, I visited a school with a friend who was recovering from the flu and these past days i’ve been feeling really dizzy and, as a senior, i have the luxury to not take my chances!
@justjacob58 Ahhh senioritis, huh? lol I wasn’t going to push. Because even though he’s playing it very cool (I’m the anxious mess) I know he’s gotta be more than nervous. NYU has been his dream since he was old enough to understand what NYU was. Ugh. Hopefully we’ll all know soon enough.
Has there been anyone here (or know of someone) accepted, rejected or waitlisted yet?
