NYU debt for future audio engineer

So I was accepted to NYU ED1 class. Before applying I knew I was not going to get any aid (international student). But my parents told me don’t worry about the money. NYU is a dream school for my parents and I, so we went ahead and accepted the offer without getting a single dime from the school. I am going to have to take out a bunch of loans (~100k…yikes) I am a music technology major and I plan to go into an audio engineer field maybe in film. Average mean salary is about 70,000 according to the BLS. So my point is, is the 100k debt worth it if I am going into a career field that is potentially very high paying?

Thanks

Do you mean your parents would take out the loans? Students can’t usually qualify.

Oh sorry I was not specific enough ><. I meant to say private student loans. Of course I am most likely going to need a co signer and will probably be my mom.
