jesus christ, whats wrong with people?
LOOK AT MY DAB B*TCH LOOK AT MY DAB
Guys help. I just checked my housing status and it says that I am a Florence Freshman.
Does it mean that I got accepted just in that campus?? or I still can choose NYC?
Hi did they release the ED2 decision?..
I’m at Columbia but my girlfriend is applying for NYU Stein for ED2
There has been SO much talk about the housing change–and even though it might be a glitch–from reading posts from previous years it seems like those that got it probably have a good chance of being admitted. Mine never changed–does anyone know anybody who got admitted WITHOUT ever seeing that change?
@dididoenough nobody is denying the weight of the housing theory. it’s just the fact that there was a weird switch back to non renewable for people that has made people speculate that it’s been fixed. and yes, there have been people admitted without the change - their change occured after they were admitted
btw I don’t believe in the housing change stuff. I applied to Stern like 2 years ago and I was admitted with no housing change.
@chenzheng decisions get released at 5pm tomorrow! good luck to her
ty
there is a Chinese website which is like this…many have reported that they get in without housing change
http://admissionsblog.nyu.edu/2016/02/14/another-win/ I seriously hope we are all part of the 1141 students who were admitted ED II! 20 hours!
Only 1,141? How many people applied? @SquadGoals
Did anyone else got housing in a campus that is not NYU?
My housing page says Florence Freshman…
Not sure… but NYU had 63,000 total applicants this year for both ED and RD @closavia
@paovaci did you apply to LSP as your first choice or an alternate? if it wasn’t your first choice, then it is not binding. if it was or you decide to go through with it anyway, you do not spend all four years in florence. you only take core classes through LSP at florence, then transfer to a NYC school like CAS or Stern. i think it is only a year (or two?)
@pizzaandpeonies I applies LSP as second choice… I would be happy also with Florence although NYC was my top… I’ll see how it goes. Finger crossed
1,141 accepted students for CAS, Tandon, Stern, Gallatin, Steinhardt, and Tisch (i’m probably missing a few but these are coming from the top of my head) seems too few. I know this is not accurate and is a reaaaally rough calculation but divide 1,141 between these 6 schools and you get 190 accepted students per school. Wow, if I get in, I will feel so accomplished. [-O<
Can’t help feel my odds of getting in just reduced dramatically. Almost 8,500 ED applicants…
@dididoenough That’s ED1 + ED2
It’s not thaaaatt bad if you stop and think about it. I mean, if the number of applicants increases, so does the number of acceptances. They probably will not accept the same number of students like last year since there would be a significant drop in the university’s acceptance rate. Usually, from what I know and correct me if I’m wrong, universities acceptance rates never decrease more than give or take 5% per year…
