So, I applied ED2 with NYC as my first choice and Shanghai as my 2nd. I received an acceptance letter from Shanghai but do not see any sort of letter (rejection/acceptance) for NYC Campus. What does this mean?

According to previous years, the financial aid change was a three column chart. That is showing up for me, and apparently for many other people on this forum, too, but I don’t think it means anything. I think it just means the financial aid office is getting prepared to begin reviewing all of the financial aid and preparing the packages. I don’t think it is an indication of admission. Just so people don’t get their hopes up! Hang in there everyone- only a few more weeks!

Act 31, GPA 4.09 class top 10% 11AP sat math 760
I know CAS economics is competitive and my score is just average among all applicats but what I believe made me stand out is my extracirculars. So for those people that don’t have amazing stats: ur extracirculars does matter and NYU is totally holistic so don’t lose hope! I went to South Africa and help the local people improve their economy through helping them with a pebble business. I wrote this in my essay and related it to why I want to study economics and also relate this to NYU’s African research center. I also did horse therapeutic riding as my volunteer and riding it in my personal essay~ So good luck everyone

How are you guys finding out already? I was told by the admissions staff that decisions wouldn’t go out untill April 1st. Also my housing portal works, is that a good sign?
@Islandmg because the title of this thread is “NYU ED” so all of us who got accepted where either ED 1or ED 2 applicants
Hey @Cancershines, NYUSH does not give out full aid to the extent that I am aware. The highest I have seen anybody get is 40,000 USD (Which is about 70% of the tuition along with room and board). Not full aid but still a considerable amount.
Where are people finding this housing option stuff? My portal has nothing like that. Is this on Albert, or somewhere else?

for ED applicants, has anyone received their FASFA yet? I noticed that everyone else has from other schools but I haven’t and I submitted mine on february 8
For the housing I’m getting summer 2016. But its fully allowing me to sign up for housing. Like it even brings me to the step to pay for it. Is this a good sign?
