So someone in this thread is from my state and got the FA change, but applied to a different school from me. Others from different states applied to the school I did and got the FA Change. I applied for CSS and haven’t gotten the FA change. Pls be brutally honest, should I worry? I need some a dose of reality to start studying for other stuff
because as someone brought up earlier, they seem to do decisions by state? @NYUFan101 some honest advice pls?
@Collegegal06 two of my friends didn’t get it and they are recruited athletes, but I did, so you’re probably fine so far. Although they did apply to different school
Has anyone gotten the change from Massachusetts?
I’m from MA and applied for financial aid for Tisch film and haven’t received the change yet.
@Crzcorgi
MORE INFO PLS!! I’m a recruited athlete! What sport and how did they find out? And what school did they apply to and state they’re from ? Might as well know im rejected now than later
@Crzcorgi ohhhh my bad I was freaking out bc I misread “didn’t get it” and “didnt get in”. Still curious though would you mind saying what sport and schools they’re applying for? And as recruited athletes - have they revealed to you how much pull coaches have and how likeley it is they’ll get in? Bc the coach hasn’t given me much info
@Collegegal06 they didn’t get the change but their respective coaches told them they were in to stern
To which school did you apply?
Stern! What sport? If you don’t feel comfortable revealing their sport I totally understand
but also college confidential lets us delete comments for up to 15 mins after posting! @crzcorgi
@Collegegal06 - I hear there are different types of Coach’s lists. 1 list has the names of athletes the coaches have specifically handpicked for their team and the other list of students they would speak up for if they were asked by theadmissions committee to fill in spots. If you were specifically recruited, you have the better “flag” - hope that helps
Thanks so much @remmuwannabe!
@Collegegal06 As of Monday, we were told the application still needed to be reviewed by the admissions committees. So yes, the process is not done yet. They are still reviewing.

Thanks!
@Collegegal06 if it helps, recruited athletes have much lower cut-off stat requirements than non-recruited athletes
They applied for aid
Thanks you both hahah . Srry do you mind saying when they found out and if they’re academic stats were a High or not? @crzcorgi If you don’t feel comfortable answering just lmk and ill totally respect that and won’t ask again
@16eforeman
I’m also from MA (applied to Gallatin and for FA) and I haven’t gotten any change besides the to-do list confirming they got my CSS profile.
@16eforeman and @slj1997 also from MA, also applied for aid (Steinhardt) and have not received anything other than the to-dp list change for submitting my CSS.
Anyone from Pennsylvania? CAS?
