- CAS
- Connecticut
- Domestic
did any of you guys take subject tests and submit them?
I think we should expect the non-finical aid applicant FA change on Albert to occur tomorrow. I just went back and reviewed last year’s thread and a lot of people reported a change on December 5th (a Friday in 2014) so tomorrow, December 4th, should correspond to that second wave (the first wave also happened the same day as last year so I expect this to stand true for the non-finical aid applicants wave).
Historically, how many waves were there per decision cycle?
is any1 here applied to dramatic writing in tisch? i didn’t get a change, but i applied & pretty sure rejected

Hey so I just check Albert and my FA did change, but I’m not sure if it’s THE change? So before it just had the short phrase in blue like “no access to award” or something along those lines, and now there’s a chart in my financial aid summary that says:
(Aid Year) 2016, (Institution) New York University, (Aid Year Description) Award Access Not Available
Is this THE change or something else? Thanks!
(btw I was the one who posted earlier who is from MA and applied for FA/CSS)
@16eforeman OMG i just checked mine and it said exactly the same thing!!!
Not sure if this is THE change, but still I was thrilled to finally see it.
@16eforeman it’s a little strange. I know it should be a table but the table should say 2017 and 2016 (not just 2016). Also “award access not available” doesn’t sound right. Check with someone who has gotten “THE” FA change and compare it with theirs to make sure?
But the table and change in general is definitely a good sign!! So congratulations anyways
edit: same to you @chlxbb !! Congratulations!
Trend still holds though - still no non-CSS applicants with the FA change.
@chlxbb west coast or east coast or in the middle?
in from the west coast and freaking out over not getting the change yet!
so it looks like there is some movement on the Tisch end - at least for film. And you both applied for FA
The ED1 and ED2 applicants from last year saw the changes with 2016, and this year people have 2017.
I’m confused as to why you guys got 2016 on yours :o
Thank you @iywang ! I did think it was strange and I told my dad and he thought that maybe it had to do with the fact that my financial aid for 2017 will be drastically different than 2016 based on my family’s taxes and stuff (parents both got new jobs with better income), but I definitely know that some applicants’ FA status say 2017 and 2016, so I’m really confused?
(And congrats @chlxbb
)
