********NYU ED Class of 2020 Discussion**********

My FA changed again from last night! Before it only said 2016 but now it says 2017 with the no self-serve column :slight_smile:

@16eforeman Great, I was wondering why certain people had 2106 and albert said 2017 in this end.

Did you do a summer program at NYU in the past?

  1. I got the change! (Didn't apply for CSS)
  2. CAS
  3. Singapore
  4. Domestic

@mishlll I believe the glitch was not valid for international applicants so please do not lose hope because of this ā€˜rumor’. I think I remember most international applicants who were accepted received no FA change.
I still don’t want to get hopes up on this end.

No change. @IABstudio @ferrarivettel @remuwannabe what states guys?

@LoverofNYU —NJ

Applied for CSS and got the change - but curious did anyone who applied for CSS NOT get the change? we should get as much data as possible to figure out if this glitch still means something or if it’s fixed :slight_smile:
*congrats to everyone who got it, and to those who didn’t there’s still 10 days!!!

@Collegegal06 I sooooo agree. I went from YESSSSSSS! to OH NOOOOOO nothing is certain. All good. Back to anticipation.

@LoverofNYU Cali!

I did a summer program at NYU and have had an Albert account since January. I have a table for 2015 (because of my program) and 2016 but nothing for 2017. Both say ā€œaward access not availableā€. I guess things are not looking too good for me. Do you guys think changes will keep occurring throughout the day?

Did you apply for aid? @nyu2020

@collegegal06 Yes. At this point though I’m not even concerned about aid I care more about being accepted haha

Also I was reading th NYU ED thread from last year and many people had their financial aid changes to ā€œaward access not availableā€ before they received their acceptance emails. Maybe this is not a bad sign? I don’t know what to think

Didnt apply for FA, or submit CSS, no change. I thinks its for the people who have applied for FA only

I would be a little prepared as in start other applications - but definitely don’t lose hope. There’s a whole week left! @nyu2020

@LoverofNYU California :smiley:

Guys I got the change!

Stern, North Carolina, didn’t apply for FA

Keep updating us guys! Even if you didn’t get it - once we have enough data we can ask @NYUFan101 if they think the glitch is still legit

Congrats to all who has received FA Change. Based on my research from the past years, the third wave of FA change (not as big as the second one just happened today) will be happening five days before the decision. As people mentioned, more FA aides are offered to those luck ones than what was offered to applicants received change earlier.

Again, the FA change phenomenon is not a system glitch; it is a sale strategy for NYU admission. Each year, so many applicants are actively participating in this kind of discussions which generates tremendous attractions and advertisement effects. How much cost? nothing! Just simply not to confirm…

Just checked, 2017 no self service available was added in!!!
