@blazingthrough every year the system changes. I wouldn’t count on the assumptions made by one person and paint a whole brush over every applicant. We have one more day to wait so let’s all be patient!

Guys, this probably doesn’t mean anything. Heck, a few years ago, the FA change was “Award Access Unvailable.” Now that’s our default. We don’t know any of this for sure, or even with vague confidence.
I applied for precollege and I have freshman at the top!

@deller123 I didn’t notice the FA change however I am able to access the housing application and fill it out. There is a possibility that I just missed one of the waves of the FA change because it reset to default, however…
If the majority of people got changed to “Freshman” or “Brooklyn Freshman” then probably it doesn’t mean anything lol If we see more “non-renewable” then maybe but you never really know until 5pm tomorrow.

my friend had the fa change but says nonrenewable undergrad. so i just simply dont think this means anything
@IABstudio makes me happy to hear that. wow that seeing the nonrenewable undergraduate was a really big turnoff for me… i already feel rejected. honestly, these myths on this forum haven’t completely eased my anxiety. it’s helpful to know there are many others in the same boat as me, but none of this is completely reliable. i guess we’ll see tomorrow!

I have non-renewable undergraduate as my header and so does everyone else in my school. @blazingthrough what state are you from may I ask, because we are from PA and we may be the final ones?
Considering this is about housing… but I don’t think this means anything tbh.
@blazingthrough nah they probably messed something up, are you a first year applicant? and non-renewable undergrad I think is when your experience in receiving housing is different.

Question: did this application just become active tonight? It definitely doesn’t mean anything if it’s been active for a few days. NYU is obviously aware of all the glitches this year and has done a good job patching them. Seems like waiting night before decisions release to make this application live shows a good sign of this being a glitch that they are trying to avoid being noticed.
