@hard feelings status is not gonna be updated till two weeks from now… also are you applying heop? I AM
this is probably the worst wait ever and im tired of my family telling me nyc might not be a good idea just cause im from a small town ugh
26 days to gooo
@shinybell omg i felt that…
Hi! I applied ED1 to NYU Stern as an Indian student. I have a PG of 39/42 in the IB and a 1510 SAT score. I have not applied for aid and I seeing two crosses on my NYU portal for CSS and FAFSA. Is that supposed to happen? Thanks!
I am so glad I found this place because I have been so anxious since I sent my application in Oct…
I applied CS in CAS, which is not the most popular major in NYU, hoping that would give a chance…but I also love CS
Awesome more early decision 1 applicants! Thanks for sharing~ you guys both seem like great candidates. @Divyansh I do not see u being denied especially with those stats as long as you have extracurriculars and leadership to add on~ bets of luck to us all. We only need to wait a little bit longer!
Thanks man! @YooImTim For me, its either NYU or nothing. NYU seems so much better than all the other colleges, I just cannot wait for December 15. Good luck to you and all the other ED applicants.
Fun fact: I hyped up NYU so much in my high school, that 7 of them are applying ED, 5 for Stern and 2 for CAS.
LOL I’m totally with you brooo. I can’t think of any other school besides NYU. There’s a lot of people applying to NYU at my school too, so I commited to Early Decision 1. I’m the only Early Decision for NYU at my school lol. I applied to Rory Meyers nursing and cant wait to hear back. I’m preparing for the worst too at the moment. NYU has been my dream, if I don’t get in I’m actually thinking of first year transfer already lolol. But anyways best of luck again! Let’s all keep in touch
I submitted certain things before the deadline but NYU received it after the deadline, that’s normal though right? I submitted it close to the deadline so.
We submitted CSS on 11/12, it’s still showing as “required” on the portal. How long did y’all’s css take to show up as received? A bit worried that it may be deemed to have missed the deadline.
And good luck everyone.
@collegemaybeidk I recently had my optional grade report (first quarter grades) submitted on 11/16 and admissions say they will view it. Also, if you had teacher evaluations a week or so late, it was accepted and will be viewed.
@SJ2727 I submitted my CSS Profile 10/27 and NYU received it 11/6. My FAFSA was submitted 10/10 and is currently awaiting on the NYU Portal. Hope that answers your question… I am pretty sure the deadline for CSS Profile for NYU was November 15 for early decision applicants.
Hope that answers your questions!
@YooImTim , I know they said FAFSA won’t update till mid-Dec, but I’m unsure if the CSS deadline is “submitted on CSS portal” (in which case we are fine) or “received by NYU” (which may be a problem). I’ve emailed them to inquire anyway.
Hey y’all! I’ve applied and I’m anxiously awaiting. Anyone else applying to CAS for psychology? I haven’t seen anyone yet and I’d love to know. Also, does anyone know if my chances could be higher because I want to major in psych? Does anyone know if it is too late to apply to HEOP? Still a bit confused about that. Thanks everyone and good luck!
Hey, I’m gotta accepted ED 1 last year and I’m currently at NYU studying philosophy at CAS, if you guys have any questions feel free to ask cause I was in your position last year and I know exactly how you feel
I got*
@GiannaC3 , congratulations! 2 questions-
- What were your stats?
- Has NYU been everything you expected?
Hi @GiannaC3, Congrats on getting in!
I was looking at your posts in the previous year’s group on CC, and I came across something very dangerous - the FA and the housing change. So, I was wondering if you could give us a small crash course on what this is all about, and your experience with it. This will be greatly appreciated by the entire applicant pool of 2023, who I assume, are all as tensed as me.
Also, there seems to be another website called m.albert.nyu.edu ,rather than the regular Albert. This seems like a newer version of Albert with a better UI.
Moreover, in my profile, it shows an eight digit number (IDK?) and shows Financial Aid Year 2019-2019 under the Financial Aid Cost of Attendance tab. Is this the new FA change?
