Low key had a breakdown today from the stress
@natasha1313 yeah, I’d guess it’s protocol to watch everyone’s, at least to the requested time constraint, once. I wouldn’t worry though—the fact that they have only watched yours once isn’t necessarily an indication that they’re not interested. For example, it’s possible my video only got viewed multiple times because my major has many faculty members reviewing it and they don’t watch it together.
I also know for a fact that the specific school I’m applying to is the only school at Tisch that makes their decision and then meets with NYU admissions about their choices, so maybe my extra views came from that.
I checked the portal page a couple days ago and it showed nothing, but I checked it again tonight, it showed under the NYU Class about my NYU email. The email is based on my NYU ID but I wonder if any of you also saw your email. I guess it’s a good sign…? Maybe…?

@goodluck517 ahh yes mine too, i read somewhere that it MIGHT be an indicator but if it appears on housing/profile… idk about nyuclasses! hopefully tho. don’t get the hopes too far up yet!

@goodluck517 was this the first time you checked? or you checked before and it was your personal email, then it changed to the nyu email?
(Somehow I still dunno how to reply…) but yeah it was my first time checking NYUclasses but second time checking housing and FA. I couldn’t open the former one before and I somehow could today. And the latter one has been staying like that for like a week so I dunno
@goodluck517 , my D’s profile has a nyu.edu email address too. No idea if it means anything or if it’s just an auto fill based on the NYU net ID.

@nyu2023 Hey! We are very similar applicant~ sat weakest factor! I applied to Rory Meyers College of Nursing as my first choice major (ED1). My alternate major was also Steindhardt for applied psychology followed by global liberal studies… we only have 18 more days! We’re almost there!!
Also, I do not see hoursing information nor NYU id on my profile… looks like we just got to wait and see if I got in…
