So the 2 people who got the FA change and also did not get the housing change were people who attended summer programs, while everyone else got vice versa… Clearly none of these are indicators at all

I have the ‘housing change’ which is being able to apply to the DC campus for summer. However, I want to confirm that I do not have the FA change (I did not apply for FA) and did not attend NYU previously. A friend of mine has got the FA change, and also has not attended NYU previously for summer programs. I need to check with him on his housing change.
I personally feel these are not indicators. The only indicator will be the housing change to ‘freshman’ a couple of hours before they release decisions, as that is the only one to have some correlation in the previous year. Sit tight till Dec15 guys, and please also take some time out for other essays to other schools, even though you do not feel like it!
Being able to apply for summer housing isn’t the “housing change”. Anyone can apply for summer housing as you don’t have to be a matriculated student to attend NYU summer programs.
Agree with @CaMom13. My daughter has applied for RD and sees that housing change in addition to the Financial Aid language mentioned earlier and she still has to audition for Tisch so we won’t even know the results till April.
thanks @NYDreammom that kinda confirms that the things we’ve all been noticing are probably not indicators. hang in everyone and i forgot who had said this but yeah keep working on other supplementals!!!

Hey! I know I haven’t been accepted yet, but I wanted to know which are the best freshman dorms at NYU to apply for - taking into factors such as distance to your academic building (mine is Stern, hopefully!), costs, facilities and location.
My brother is at Palladium, which he says is the best, but is unfortunately not open to freshmen.
Lipton is probably the best. I went to the open house and Lipton is currently my top choice~ however it is a bit pricier than the other dorms.

@divyansh201 Lipton has a really clean aesthetic to them, and the rooms feel more spacious.
I am too nervous to think of dorms. Wishing a positive outcome abd nice spacious dorm rooms for all of us.

How many letters of recommendations did you guys submit? On the common application, I was able to submit two teacher recommendation and one “other recommender” recommendation letter. I see so many posts and websites that say they only accepted two… just curious! Hope you guys can share 
I put just two academic teacher recommendations. I know those teachers really well so hopefully they wrote something good GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
