I’ve had access to that forever I feel like; also FAFSA 2019-2020 received is probably not a sign, I think it just means they have literally received that info. I have a feeling everyone who submitted FAFSA has it. Does anyone not?/

Guys its not the FAFSA on your literal application status page. When you first open albert there is a section that says “Financial Aid To Do (1)” and under it it should say “FAFSA recieved” is anyone not getting this??
I don’t have the SAP change, but I have all of the other “indicators”… I’m over this stress!!
Why would they look at your FAFSA if you aren’t admitted tho? It would be a waste of time…
They would only care to look at maybe the admitted students so they can create a fiancnial aid package
I don’t think it’s them “looking” at your fast I think it’s literally just them receiving it since it takes time for them to process and match our fast with our applications. definitely not an indicator. it’d be the equivalent of them receiving test scores

When I looked it mine it said “NYU has received your fafsa. All students who submitted it will be reviewed for financial aid”. Back to square 1 I guess?
it’s killing me too, that’s why I’m throwing myself into clubs and academics bc time seems to pass by real fast when im doing twenty million different things

At this point, i’m trying to do anything to see if i got in. I emailed the FA office and asked them what my financial aid package would be and they emailed some weird stuff back to me. For stern, there’s a facebook group for the Class fo 2023. I asked to join, and it’s pending. If i got in, they would probably accept it but idk. #desperate
I’ve heard someone had it set up w USPS to show them when any incoming packages are sent out to their address. A few weeks before ED decisions were released they had one from NYC and since they hadn’t ordered anything knew it was their NYU acceptance. I read that in like an ED 2 thread from years ago. That’d be ur only indicator this early on ahha

students ? Do they send out letters by USPS ?

USPS also has “Preview Incoming Mail”
idk if i should sign up for informed delivery im scared
idk about international students, but for US students, they have it first on Albert, and then they send your acceptnace packet via USPS. For international, i have no idea, but i’m pretty sure you will still get a packet if you get accepted. @Sgmom
