GUYS HELP
I’ve checked my NYU portal and somehow had access to NYU Classes page and there was my NYU email (like my ID@nyu.edu) and something like “you haven’t filled any information yet” on the profile page I’m so shocked that I need a person with the same issue (if this is an issue)
All I see is the spring housing application. I’m freaking out. I’m just not going to check my portal from now till Thursday
But I will still keep up with this thread ??
@collegemaybeidk is that after you click and accept the page that has your address pre-filled? (although this page says “housing grant application form” at the top)
Why would I want to submit a commuter request when I want to stay in dorms, though?
Why would I care about spring and summer housing on the application when I want to arrive in fall?
None of this makes much sense, spring housing, commuter requests etc none of which apply yet are all available, no way any of this is indicators imo.
The housing change is when that non-renewable undergrad changes to freshman, right? But only a handful of people seem to get that in advance so an indicator for them not anyone else.
The only reliable for all indicator will be either the word “congratulations” or “regret” on Thursday.
Guys I have searched every nook and cranny of all these websites and I HAVE THE EXACT SAME THING. Not indicators of any kind. Sorry to say this, but I think we should just wait 2 more days.
@iracherkinskaya ive had access to classes forever, i dont think it’s anything. probably because i took a class there in the summer

And, to take our mind off things, some friends and I have assigned dares to each other if we get into our dream colleges. We already did Stanford and Cornell, can’t wait for Penn, Princeton and NYU! I highly recommend this as a stress buster. Please share your stories of acceptance dares!

@SJ2727 also to see if everyone else has or doesn’t have access to these pages. If you don’t care about these discussions and just want to wait until decision day, then do that. I’m not sure why you’re still prowling this thread though, since obviously that is what we are going to be talking about

CAS ED stats:
4.54 gpa (on a 5 point scale so around 3.54 on a 4 point scale I think?). 1510 super score 1460 single sitting. I have a lot of EC’s, but not a lot of leadership/awards, however I am French club president and I gave a ted talk at my schools Teda event which I guess is pretty cool I think. Submitted 3 recs, 2 from teachers that I think would say good things and one from my boss at work where I was promoted to the manger of a swim lesson program at a pool. I also think my essays were pretty good. The only thing that worries me is my gpa. I had a tough sophomore year, but not for any particular reason so I had nothing to say to them to explain it. I take mostly honors classes with a few ap classes and regular classes here and there. Any idea what my chances are?? I’m so nervous I want this so bad!
