hey everyone, GOOD LUCK from an EDII applicant! I’d advise that you turn off Adblock if checking on laptop or PC and be aware that emails only inform you your decision is ready to be viewed on Albert. Also historically decision have began ‘release waves’ at 5PM EST so I’d advise you don’t refresh constantly as an email will arrive first. Also for FA CALL THE FA OFFICE. The lady picking up when I call is super chill so be kind. They are also working as fast as possible. If you wanna check the status (wether your FAFSA or CSS is in) then you’ll be asked for your N ID and she’ll put you on hold and go check. My FAFSA is in but the office just hasn’t uploaded it to the portal yet. Even if you’re getting your decision today call the FA office and confirm your needed materials and information is in! Double checking never hurt ! Also don’t call the Admissions office asking for your decision, picking up the phone slows down their process. Best guess is they’re packing packets as they release decisions so they’re working double time. GOOD LUCK ?
Do you think they are working round the clock in shifts ? Wish I could be a fly on the wall of the admissions office. SO curious. So should we expect the email in our inbox at 4 pm ?
@Sgmom I recall last year on twitter whoever was controlling it said the office was a jungle and also they tweeted congratulations when the first wave began. That was around 5pm / 5:30pm EST so honestly stalk @MeetNYU…I have notifications on for them?

with other schools I’ve gotten into when I checked the portal to view my decision, the page gave it away before I clicked the decision bc it had stuff like enrollment deposit due etc does nyu have the same thing?
@nyu2023 Based on videos of reactions I’ve watched if you applied to two or more campuses then the one you got into appears on the dashboard and the other isn’t present but other than I can’t remember much of indicators of getting in. I don’t know if this true for this year being that NYUHome/Albert has changed.
