Hi I just joined, I was accepted into CAS today at 3:18 a.m. I hope everyone who hasn’t got a decision will get one soon and I hope it is an acceptance!
@DMMMMa, How long did you wait for the decision after the interview? I didn’t hear anything yet this Monday. And I am also an international student, but have no change on my Albert thus far. Super nervous rn. Hope there will be another weave of acceptances in next week.
10 days? I did my interview on a Friday. So, there is about a week between. @CooperJuniorI Hope you hear back from NYU soon!
I was accepted to CAS this morning but my Financial Aid is still not available, should I call or just wait?
@burnt2the3rd It took my friend 2 days to find out her aid and she handed everything in on time.

I got the acceptance this morning. I just called and the lady said that my financial aid has already been awarded and I will see it tomorrow on Albert! Omg I am more nervous than waiting for the decision! This will pretty much decide whether NYU or Columbia GS for me…
Denied, 3.9 gpa, oh well I committed to USC anyways, however, congrats to everyone accepted!
Err how come I have 91 units and only 46 are transferred… do I have to stay in NYU for three years… am I a junior or a sophomore?
@MPLSg My D was accepted to Tisch for film and television as as well though got very little funding so not sure we can pull it off. I’m concerned that the price tag is just getting higher an higher since they require the 6week summer program that costs extra and then I read somewhere how students can end up spending $10K out of pocket for their film senior year. Did you read that too?
I’m pretty much in the full need category, my friend got a half-ride so I’m hoping for the same tomorrow
For those accepted, were you given a date that you need to accept/decline by?
I know that NYU release the D every mondays, and tuesdays
I just skimmed the threads and I think I saw people who got rejected on tuesday more than on monday.
Is tuesday is rejection day?

@MassAnonymous yes the price is high. I have yet to get my financial aid. But for me the price is very much worth it. I also saw that student directors will spend out of pocket, concerning? Yes. But I’ll get a part time job to pay for that.
haven’t heard anything yet for Tisch…doesn’t look too good.
