when do most people hear back after the fa change from 2017 to 2018?
I can log into org sync! I hope this is an indicator of my admission because my orgsyn shows that I have an NYU email…
Yesterday I got an email saying that NYU never received my College Report. I sent it months ago and got a confirmation but whatever. The man who emailed me, Ted Jacobi said I would have a decision tomorrow May 26th.
do decisions get released on thursdays?

i’m not sure about international, but me and @accpetmepls123 both applied to film and are still waiting. we have had changes but no decisions, so it’s quite possible it could be nothing

are people getting transfer credit evaluations with their acceptance or financial aid letter? aka do you know this information before deciding?
Hey I haven’t posted before but I’ve been reading for a while. I’m still waiting for film/tv as well! I’ve actually been at NYU as a visiting student all year…but I applied as an external transfer student. I just wanted to say that from reading past transfer forums and from conversations I’ve had while studying at NYU…definitely don’t give up hope. In past forums i saw people accepted into the film program all the way into June. They probably haven’t read your application yet. I’ve talked to people at NYU and they said that they usually look at them in the order they get them. They do try to get film decisions out earlier…but just because your decision is coming later doesn’t mean your less likely to get in. They would have just sent a rejection if we were rejected…again they just probably haven’t looked at the application yet. I for one submitted my application minutes before the deadline haha. Also…if your worried about the summer class it’s not a big deal. They work to accommodate students that were accepted later on…some transfer students even do the summer class during the next year. The fact that you missed the immunization records deadline doesn’t matter. I registered for classes in the fall after the immunization deadline…and I turned in the records like three months after the deadline. All of which is to say…don’t give up hope! Sorry for the long post… but I wanted to share what I have learned from being here as a visiting student. I’m still as nervous as everyone else…but I hope this makes you feel a bit better. I hope everyone gets in!
