what time will decisions be released today
i have heard they normally go up in the morning or close to noon
I just called admissions to check they had received something…and they said we should definitely hear back this week. But it seems everyone is hearing different things. So who knows…

Just talked to a counselor and she said we will receive the decisions today, tomorrow, and beginning of next week.
Rejected from Stern. I had a strange feeling that decisions would come out today, so I checked my Albert and was stunned to finally see that purple admissions decision button. Ultimately, I knew that getting into Stern would be nearly impossible, so I am not too surprised. For those who are curious, I applied to Stern as my primary choice, and then put down CAS and Tandon as my alternative choices. In the rejection letter, they did not offer me a spot in those schools either, but in one of the admissions blog they said that they rarely offer spots for those who apply to Stern.
However in the rejection letter, they did state and I quote “Although we cannot reconsider your application for admission to any of the traditional undergraduate schools and colleges at NYU for the upcoming term, the Paul McGhee Division of our School of Professional Studies represents an alternative. NYU’s McGhee Division welcomes transfer applications from students on a rolling basis for spring, summer, and fall admission.”
I looked at the majors in the Paul McGhee Division and the only one that slightly interests me is Real Estate. All in all though, I don’t think it is worth the expensive tuition to go to a school that I don’t see myself at.
I’m just upset and slightly frustrated that NYU made me wait this long to only find out I got rejected :(. I guess my plan is to continue my studies at my current college, and hope to go to graduate school in NYC one day. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
I just called to and she said today or tomorrow and that I should call back if I don’t get a decision by next week. Hopefully this has some truth to it this time. I’m tired of waiting and hearing lies from the admissions counselors

@acceptmepls123 i’m so sorry to hear that ): did your FA ever change to 2018 or was it always 2017? i think 2018 is the only accurate indictor

@cjeong98 I got the exact same rejection letter and applied to Stern primary and CAS secondary. Like you, I wasn’t given any admission to either of those schools and instead got consideration for the Paul McGhee school. I agree with you in stating that this school isn’t worth it for that, and honestly Stern may not even be worth it in the long run. There are plenty of business schools that are on par or better that are also far cheaper, such as UT McCombs or Emory Goizueta. Best of luck to anyone else waiting for decisions or who was accepted, however use your better judgement to determine whether NYU is truly worth the financial cost to you.
@annadragon yeah it did. I called NYU and spoke to them about that and they said everyone gets the changes

I got rejected to stern like expected. Had a 4.0 at my local CC when I applied and now I have a 3.97. But still got into Columbia University general studies! Anyone who is interested in studying in nyc and have a break of at least one year should look into Columbia general studies program. It’s truly amazing, well not the financial package though, but NYU is notorious for their financial aid, so it doesn’t hurt to look into it.
