Tisch Film and Television junior transfer applicant here. Still waiting to hear back. I received a FA change today where it says “Year/ Institution/ Aid year description” for 2017 & 2018. Do we know if this a good sign? Did anyone who was not admitted have these changes?

I need a lot of aid but they gave me a package where I would still have to pay 60k. For transfers, the chance of you getting a decent package is a lot smaller than it would be if you were to apply normally. Or maybe I just got unlucky. I can barely afford a 20k school, how would i be able to dish out 60k?
I haven’t received any emails from NYU Albert with log-in information, and based on what I’m gathering from these posts, there should be a wave of decisions sent out soon. I received the confirmation from the Common App for NYU and a transfer advisor emailed me when my counselor didn’t send my transcript. Do applicants receive their Albert log-in information the moment their decision becomes available?
When will the next wave of decisions be released

@AndreND … tell me about It !!! We are in the same boat and its not us being unlucky. Thats pretty much how its gone for about 5 people I know personally. Tough, for me I am gonna have to let this opportunity pass as I simply cann’t afford it.
Just accepted to the SPS (The Tisch Center more specifically) If anyone is worried about having a low gpa (like I was) or not having high enough scores my first semester freshman gpa was a 2.7 and I was accepted. I’m transferring from Georgetown University where I was a student athlete. I also have relevant hospitality experience.
Also I had no Albert changes and I was accepted.

Rejected for tisch drama. Good luck to everyone still waiting and congrats to those who got in! I had changes on albert and still got rejected. Hey, its okay though. I’m headed off to montclair state university next fall. I wish everyone the best of luck for next fall!!
