does anyone know how to extend the window of accepting since they only give us a week to accept/decline? i saw a few kid on this thread be able to do so but i can’t figure out how.

CAS CS still waiting. I got two check list on my applicant portal. Does anyone know why? It’s the exact list, one has the list out and other disappeared two weeks ago.

Is one the financial aid checklist and the other is a transcript checklist?
My transcript/admission checklist disappeared around April 24th and financial aid checklist has remained the same. I only heard back today (a little over two weeks later) so I would suspect that you will hear back soon.

PSA: Call admissions office and ask for an extension. They will send you an email where you fill out a short form stating why you are requesting an extension and add how many days/weeks you’d like one for (I got one for 1 month when I got accepted on 4/10!). They will most likely approve it, although there is no guarantee that you will receive the full amount of time you asked for. If this is the case, you can submit an additional extension request close to the time when your first one is over. One week to reply is honestly ridiculous, especially since a majority of those who got accepted today don’t have financial aid packages (heads up: if you don’t have a package yet, try calling financial aid office. I was able to receive mine on the phone a few days before it was officially posted on my portal). Hope this helps anyone stressing right now!

I also didn’t hear back today- Tisch Dramatic Writing. Everything in my portal is the same. I haven’t lost hope yet because it doesn’t sound like anyone in my major has heard back (unless…?).

- 4.0 GPA from a community college in Florida.
- No SAT or ACT scores.
- International Student.
- Average grades in Highschool.
- Decent essays I think.
- Extracurriculars are music and MUN.
- I work in a local political campaign for State senate.
applied CAS Politics, nothing yet. You guys think they’ve announced so many admissions cuz the rest are rejections?
