I’m absolutely new too. I just got off the phone with a financial aid officer so they could take a hold off my account and review my financial aid package. I am pretty lost and trying to figure out which housing is best to apply for currently.
Has anyone made a group chat?? I just got accepted this week as a transfer junior(?) and I am waiting for my financial aid review to come out. Would really appreciate if ppl who knew what’s going on could give me a hand lol, btw I am in cas for cinema studies(also had a mental breakdown cuz I wanted to double major but then I found out I couldn’t )
Also does anyone know if transfer students get to pick their dorms at all? The housing looks so expensive and I’m really wondering which house is the most affordable but also has a decent living environment. Would be soooo thankful if someone could provide some insight on housing choices at NYU.
Also, is it too late to start looking for rental? Like, are apartments near NYU more expensive than living in their dorms?

My graduation term is Spring 2023 and I should have 64 credits so yeah, I think we’re all in the same boat there. Anyone have any groups for accepted students in general? PM me please I’d love to join one

yeah same here im hesitant to accept bc my financial aid is not good, too. i wonder if not yet accepting is what is lagging the aid email but i also doubt they’ll add more aid considering how they are.
