@freshman35 I’m currently a sophomore at community college, and received an acceptance for Stern saying that ~60 of my units were transferred. I believe this means that I’d have a junior level standing if I were to attend Stern in the fall.

Hi all, was a ghost watcher but have some questions!
I’m a a transfer from a CC in LA, recently relocated to NY for an amazing job.
Attended NYU Visiting Student at Tisch this year in January. passed with A. CC stats, initially attended 2010-2015 as mathematics major. Re-entered Fall 2019 as Film/TV major with overall goal to transfer.
Overall GPA: 3.30
Total credits completed: 72 (from 2010-present)
Attended NYU as Visitor, accepted two weeks after applying.
Has anyone here who has been accepted previously attended as a visiting student?
I guess it is most likely going to be a rejection if you still haven’t received decision yet. I am also still waiting.
Hmm, let’s not be negative here! We never know what’s going on. Especially with COVID. I’ll remain optimistic. If anything, I’ll attend again as a visitor and reapply.

I got accepted to USC!!! I’m glad I have been admitted there as I don’t feel as hopeless as I did prior to receiving my decisions and solely relying on NYU ??
Wowza!!! Congratulations!!! Gosh, USC was my secondary choice, but I lived in LA (originally from Chicago) for over a decade I needed a way out ?.

Yay! That’s exciting. I loved LA. As a fellow mid-Westerner, I get it! You’re going to love the city. Really beautiful, highly recommend living in DT or beach areas. Worth the $. No word from NYU yet, but thank you for your well wishes!
